How many viewers have lost a remote control?

I think the idea about having a wireless remote control is for convenience and flexibility. I am sure there are people who also lost their remote control, but still I do not think they would be happy to go into wired remote control.

Why does the trunk of a Lexus RX 350 open randomly by itself even when the car is locked?

The button on the remote control may getting pressed inadvertently by keys or other objects in your purse or pocket. This may be relevant if the opening of the trunk happens when the remote control is within 100 ft (30 m) of the vehicle, i.e., within radio range. (The distance may vary, depending on nearby obstructions and interfering electrical signals.) To eliminate the remote control as the source of the problem, store it in a manner that prevents the buttons from being pressed accidentally and see if the trunk still opens randomly on its own. One could also completely wrap the remote control in aluminum foil during the test period, to prevent radio emissions if the control is malfunctioning and sporadically transmitting even if a button isn't pressed. Removing the batteries from the remote control is not a good idea, as most modern electronic lock systems use a "rolling code" security scheme, and removing power from the remote can cause it to lose synchronization with the receiver in the car and would require re-training the system after the batteries are reinstalled.

How do you make remote control stuff - 5 years old girl?

Remote control can be done many different ways. One example is how a light switch turns a light on and off.Another example is the TV remote control. It has an infrared, or invisible red, beam that is sent to an infrared receiver in the TV. When a button is pushed, the beam sends a message which the TV performs.Other possibilities include radio waves and sound waves. In fact, early TV remote controls were ultrasonic (so high pitched you can not hear it). The remote control had spring loaded hammers that struck a bell that made an ultrasonic beep. The TV has a receiver that listened for the bell, and did things as needed. These ultrasonic remote controls had no electrical part inside the remote. That is why people still call them "clickers", even though the modern infrared types do not click.

Where online can I buy kits to make remote control planes?

Yes remote control planes are still available. You can buy the kits online on Amazon or on eBay but I'm sure certain stores next to you like Toy R Us might have them too.

I've had a problem bypassing the factory amp in my '02 exterra to be a ble to have sound with the stereo. Any help?

Why bypass amp just get wiring diagram and hook up remote"blue wire" to the remote lead from factory amp. Or unplug amp use a meter and check which wire has power. Then turn off radio and check wire again should have no power with radio off. This will only work if factory radio is still installed. But that wire would be remote wire. Just hook up new radio remote wire to the found wire. Then connect speakers to factory plugs and use the amp.

How can you have access to knowledge in remote areas?

Which type of electromagnetic radiation is used to send signals from a tv remote control?

There are a number of different types of remote controls. As regards those used most around the home, we find that infrared light is the most commonly applied one. Infrared light is light just below the visible spectrum. TV's, DVD players and audio systems usually use this kind of device. They're very common, but there are other types of remote controls in common usage.Remote controls for garage doors, gates and the like use radio waves in the 300 MHz to 400 MHz range. We also see radio waves on frequencies just above 70 MHz used for many remote control (RC) model aircraft and vehicles. Again we see radio waves used in most remote controls for video games. But these operate in the microwave band somewhere around 2.4 GHz, in case you wish to differentiate microwaves from "regular" or lower frequency radio waves.

Where can one find universal remote control codes?

Most likely it would be found in the manual, or possibly on the remote, or even in the setup up guide when you first use the remote. You could also call the company or look up their codes online.

What is the remote control code for a Symphonic TV model number CST247FE?

Which remote control? A number of outfits post online different codes for different remotes for different sets. (Hope that made sense.) Try programming the remote to operate another set other than the Symphonic. If the remote works, fasten your seatbelt. Here's why. There are still a few "hard-headed" manufacturers who make sets that have remotes with "oddball codes" and they cannot be replaced with the universal remotes. Some Symphonic sets are like this. Buy a remote from a company that will take it back if it won't program to your set. Ask them up front about returns. Radio Shack is one such company that will take the remote back if you cannot make it work with your unit and you return it with all the stuff it came with - including the receipt.
