What would you like to do?
There are essentially no insurance companies that will cover tubal ligation reversal. Many clinics that perform the procedure offer payment plans that spread the cost of the quite expensive surgery.

Thanks for the feedback!
Rarely, But you have to check with your insurance company on what your particular policy covers or does not cover.
it depends on your policy. for mine, once i met my $500 deductible (which is billed to you by whomever is doing the surgery) if it was an in-network provider it was covered 10…0%; out of network provider was covered at 80%. in-patient stay was a $150 charge on top of that and out-of-patient stay was subject to a $300 deductible. all in all i was pleasantly surprised, i didn't think it was going to cover ANYTHING---i can't afford the $5900 out of pocket cash cost for a reversal for but i can afford the $650 in-provider cost. I'm ecstatic. and the customer lady was REALLY nice, too.
Depend on ur insurance carrie!bluecross-blueshield of Alabama ppa does . my dedutible was 250.00 to the hoptial and 500.00 to the doctor.
Most health insurance companies will not cover tubal reversal or IVF treatments. The ones that do are mostly located on the east coast.
Some do, some don't. Contact your plan to find out if you are covered and congratulations on your decision.
The answer is simply no and that's sad! My mom works for DSS in the medicaid department and she told me this so I know its true.
Both procedures are considered elective and therefore not covered by most insurance plans. Fourteen states mandate that insurance plans either offer or cover certain infertili…ty treatments such as IVF, and typically only the insurance plans subject to the mandate provide any infertility related coverage. If you work in one of the fourteen states with such a mandate, research the laws, and understand the loopholes. Many mandates apply only to employer groups of certain sizes. Others exempt self insured employers. If you work for an employer headquartered out of state, research the laws for your company's home state. Your insurance plan will be subject to the laws in that state.
Depends on ur insurance carrier! Blue cross Blue shield of Illinois ppo does... all that is needed is a 250.00 deductible! If your employer provides this insurance, chances ar…e you are covered...if you are a male and your partner is having a TR(tubal reversal) it wont cover unless you are married! Personal Experience!
Does blue cross blue shield of michigan cover tubal ligation reversal
It depends on the company, the policy and/or its medical necessity; some do, and some don't.
It is covered under MA, only after the age of 21. However, you have to find a doctor/hospital that takes MA, and so far, I have found none that take MA who do tubal ligations.…
you cannot get it reversed
Yes they can try but pregnancy is not guaranteed and there is a bigger risk for ectopic.
Reversals of tubal ligations, vasectomies and infertility treatments ARE NOT covered by Gateway. It says so in their handbook. Sorry! :-(
I am not aware of any insurance company anywhere that will cover this type of procedure. Health insurance is made to pay for medically necessary costs. Elective procedures wil…l not be covered by any health insurance policy. Just like a breast enlargement or cosmetic surgery are elective, the individual will be responsible for paying for this themselves.
