Warm salt water. Get a tissue or some cotton--wet this with the solution and gently rub over the kittens eyes. You will need to do this 3 times a day until the eyes start clearing up. You should see improvement in a couple of days.

I know it sounds strange, but that is a symptom of dry eye syndrom. Your eye doctor can prescribe drops to remedy that.
