Would your 2005 Cavalier's rear right turn signal be covered by warranty The car is 14 months old and you have a 5 year 100000 km Powertrain Warranty?
Answer This would be covered under the bumper to bumper warranty which expired at the end of 12 months or 12,000 miles. Powertrain is the engine, transmissi…on, & differential. What powers the vehicle, nothing more. Answer I believe there may be a recall on them. I have refered a couple customers to the dealer because they were within the 36,000 mile/ 3 year manufacturer's warranty prior to the recall and they had them fixed.

yes they are all electric components are covered for the life of the warranty. It will depend on the warranty. Powertrain usually only covers internal engine and… transmission parts.
Whoever wrote that last answer needs to learn how to type. I asked my dealer what the warranty was and they told me that they can't say. I know when I went in I needed a new 3…rd cylinder and that was covered. The dealer told me that they don't know what is covered until they submit the parts order and it will come back as covered or not covered.
Would the Transfer case on a 2005 Dodge Dakota 4.7 V8 4x4 be considered under the powertrain warranty?
It cold be, this a question for the dealer. Their computer system will be have a list of what is covered. The transfer case is part of the powertrain, no matter wha…t the dealer may say.
No! My daughter had hers go out at 37 months. I'm curious if this is a common failure.
Should be. It's part of the drive train.
No it does not. I found out the hard way when our 2008 Outlook experienced steering issues/hard turning. Dealer said pump and steering rack need replaced to the tune of $1500 …and is not covered under the powertrain warranty. Seems to be an issue with these models and the Acadia as well. Good luck. Jim
No, the lifetime powertrain warranty is good for the first owner only.
It could be. The manufacturer decides what is part of there "powertrain warranty".
In Ford Focus
It has a timing chain not a belt. It should last well over 100000 miles. If it failed and your car is still under warranty it should be covered.
As a Warranty Administrator for Daimler Chrysler for over 7 years, I can tell you that neither Chrysler or aftermarket service contracts have ever covered power steering compo…nents with a drivetrain/powertrain service contracts. Examples of covered components may be engine, transmission/transaxle, transfer case, and differentials.
No, engine transfer case, transmission and drive axles only. Not steering.
That will depend on the specifics of the warranty. You will need toread the fine print.
