Sears Ranger Mdl. 101.11A is a semi Auto, tube fed, rifle chambered for .22LR offered in the '30's. It was made for Sears by Savage/Stevens and is equivalent to their Mdls. 6A, 87A and 76A rifles. Values, these days, dependant on condition is in the $75 - $150 range.
Very dependable rifles utilizing an interesting trigger disconnector system. When you fire the gun, the bolt remains to the rear until the trigger is released.

The rifle is a Stevens 87 seni auto 22 Ranger was a Sears brand before World War 2. Sears guns sold after the war were sold under the JC Higgins brand. What you have is a pre war rifle made in the late 30s to 1941.
