The British Hawker Siddeley Harrier is a V/STOL fighter and attack jet that can maneuver up down and sideways by use of swivelling jet nozzles. Skilled pilots could easily outwit faster fighters, as shown in the 1982 Argentine invasion of Falklands. The Harrier is still in use with the US Marines and Spanish and Italian Navies.
