The Mediterranean Sea is a body of water, it is not a country and it does not have a capital. There are a number of countries which surround the Mediterranean sea which have coastal capitals, such as Algiers (capital of Algeria), Tripoli (capital of Libya), Tunis (capital of Tunisia) and others.
