Engineering technicians use the principles and theories of science, engineering, and mathematics to solve technical problems in a variety of engineering fields. Engineering technicians generally have 2 year associates degrees. A lot of techs just install or help engineers with the hands-on start-up or troubleshooting of systems & equipment.
Electrical engineering technologists assist engineers in the design, drafting, and technical skills to implement engineering ideas. EET's generally possess a 4-year bachelors degree. Although the term can be somewhat misleading, someone with a BS in Electrical Engineering Technology can obtain the same job as someone with a BSEE. The EET degree usually focuses on the implimentation of design, while EE focuses on design and theory. The EE degree generally contains higher level math courses than the EET degree.

Answer Electrical Engineers design, develop, test, and supervise the manufacture of electrical equipment such as electric motors, lighting, wiring in buildings, power g…enerating utilities, etc. A bachelors degree from an ABET accredited university is required before one can purport to be an Electrical Engineer. Electricians install, connect, test, and maintain electrical systems. They might work from blueprints created by electrical engineers when they work with electrical systems.
We often see electronics engineering as a subset of electrical engineering. The "old school" way to separate the two was was often to say that electrical engineering was "high… current" engineering and electronics engineering was "low current" engineering. The primary differences today usually involve which upper division courses the undergraduate engineer opts into. While one engineer might be plugged into optoelectronics, another might be picking up credits in materials and solid state fabrication. There is a major difference electrical engineers deals with bulk current flow. Electronics engineers deals with electrons emission ANSWER: Electronics is the study of electrons emission. Electrical is the study of electron flow.

Electronics Engineering falls roughly into the overall category of electrical engineering. Electrical engineering deals with ALL aspects of electrical things, from power gen…eration & transmission, to superconductors. In a nutshell, electrical engineers work on power distribution, electrical controls in factories, motors & their control, transformers, and things like the electrical requirements for a new mall (just to mention a few of the many areas of EE). Electronics Engineers deal more with things at the component level, primarily Integrated circuits, signal processing, gadgets like your GPS, and iPOD. On board a cruise ship for example, an Electrical engineer would see over the motor generator sets, the power distribution, the computer controls at the 'control' level (steering & propulsion), while an Electronics Engineer would deal with this like troubleshooting an single circuit board and the communications equipment. A technician is one who installs or repairs electrical systems and devices. An engineer is one who designs electrical systems and devices.
What is the difference between an Electrical Engineering Technologist and an Electrical Engineering Technician and an Electrical Engineering artisans?
The technologists design, and draft the electrical network from the ground to each outlet. The technician and the artisan are the same. They install and repair the electricity… in the building.
Engineers aply perticular technology/ applied science in an specific production. But a technologist try to find the way to build/ product an item.

Engines and motors are the same thing.
In both cases the desired end is to do work. In a gas engine a controlled explosion of the fuel drives a piston that turns a crank shaft. In an electric motor a current causes… an electromagnetic fiels which causes a rotor to rotate. In both cases the shaft power to either turn the wheels and an on board generator.
