A group is a collection of people who come together for a common purpose but may not have shared goals or interdependence. A team, on the other hand, is a group of individuals who work together collaboratively, with shared goals and interdependence, to achieve a specific task or objective. A team usually has a clear leader, roles are more defined, and there is a higher level of coordination and mutual accountability compared to a group.
