TYPICALY IT WILL BE THE TERMINAL ON THE FRONT RIGHT LOOKING AT THE ENGINE FROM THE FRONT, BUT IF THE OIL PUMP DRIVE SHAFT HAS BEEN ROTATED IN THE BLOCK INADVERTANTLY IN THE COURSE OF PULLING THE DIST. IT CAN BE ANYWHERE. IF THE ENGINE BACKFIRES THROUGH THE CARB. AND THE DIST. HAS BEEN REMOVED THEN ROTATE THE DIST SHAFT (ROTOR) 180 DEGREES.
