Low tides can happen anywhere. Wherever the moon goes it lifts earth's water up a little (closest to it. The water also rises on the other side of Earth which is strange) and the sides of Earth not facing the moon lower a little.

Do low tides occur as places on the earth surface pass through the areas of tide bugles?

No. The areas of tidal bulge cause high tides as places on earth pass though them, not lowtides. However, where one has a bulge there must be a trough either side of it and this is where the low tides occur.

How many times a day around the world do high tides occur around the world?

High tides occur twice a day wherever water is located. The high tides on one side of the world correspond with the low tides on the other side of the world, and are based on the gravitational pull exerted by the Earth's moon.

What causes high and low tides to occur on earth?

the gravitational pull of the moon

Does a low tide occur at the point on earths farthest from the moon?

The point closest to the moon and the point exactly opposite it on the other side of Earth both have high tides, while the 'sides' of the Earth, in between the high tides, have low tides.Because the moon only has a force on Earth's oceans.

What occurs on the side of Earth that is closest to the moon and on the opposite side of earth?

Its day on the other side. Both sides have high tides while the other two has low tides.

When do regular low and high tides occur?

low tides happen when the moon is not in a straight line and make an right angle and high tides is when the moon earth and sun are in a straight line

What happens when the moon faces the other side of the earth?

one of the many different tides occurs. like a spring tide or a neap tide can occur. two types of tides are a high tide and a low tide

Where do you usually get high tides and when do they occur?

you usually get high tides when the moon affects gravitational pull on the earth, which triggers the ocean of the gravitational pull. low tides occur on the top of the earth, just the opposite of what i have stated! (just in case you wanted to know!)

How many hours apart are tides in most places on Earth?

Do high tides occur less often than low tides as often as low tides or more often than low tides?

same

What month and day low tides occur?

All of them. Low tides occur just about twice a day in most places.

What causes low tides?

The moon's gravitational pull. The tides occur because of the gravitational pull of the the moon on the major bodies of water. Low tide occurs where the gravitational pull of the moon is lowest, on the opposite side of Earth from where the moon is directly overhead, which is where high tide occurs.
