So long as the bolt patterns are the same, yes.
Assuming it is automatic, read the dipstick, probably Dextron III.
Yes, if you are refuring to the 4.3L V6, Any Small Block GM Transmission will work with this Engine-Transmission combination. Also I do believe the Buick 3.8L V6 will work as well. Any other V6 will not work as a direct bolt in. But anything can be done as long as skill and finance allow.
where can i find a vaccum diagram for a 1985 Chevy truck with a 350 small block
Will the transmission from a 1985 Chevy Celebrity fit a 1991 Buick LeSabre
In back of the engine, on top, just to the drivers side of the distributor.
700r4
If it has one it will be on the right rear of the transmission. There will be a vacuum line that attachs to it. With the engine running , parking brake set and selector in park, remove the line and see if you have engine vacuum. If not, repair the cause before replacing the valve.
it's a 1985 chevy...
I need to know fluid type speccifications for manual transmission Chevy 1985 s-10 5spd Chevy 1985 s-10 what type of manual transmission fluid
What is the engine in the Caprice? In the Suburban? If they are a 305/350 then they can be interchanged. I have a 1985 Caprice Classic with a 305 and the tranny came out of a 1987 Suburban. It depends on the engine.
