Roman civilization used Grecian(Ancient Greek)ideas which influenced their architecture. Nothing in the Roman culture is original or distinctive; only inspired by from others. Etruscan culture was inspirations for Roman civilization. Other influences are the Balkans, Asia Minor, Syria, Egypt, and Turkish Ottoman Empire.
The Romans modelled their temple on Greek styles. The Roman architecture textbook by Vitruvius mentions in passing a Tuscan style and did not include it in its architectural canonic orders. Tuscan was the Latin for Etruscan. Renaissance architects Sebastiano Serlio and Andrea Palladio talked about a Tuscan order and described it as more robust and rustic and less ornate. However, the Romans rarely used the Tuscan order and it does not seem that this style was used for temples. Serlio said that this style was "suitable to fortified places, such as city gates, fortresses, castles, treasuries, or where artillery and ammunition are kept, prisons, seaports and other similar structures used in war." Palladio said that "the Tuscan, being rough, is rarely used above ground except in one-storey buildings like villa barns or in huge structures like Amphitheatres and the like which, having many orders, can take this one in place of the Doric, under the Ionic." The Tuscan order refers to type of columns that resembles a Greek Doric column, but is more slender, smooth (without the grooves of the Doric column) and without ornaments.
Roman culture was greatly influenced by both the Etruscan and Greek cultures.

The Greeks did not actually influence Roman religion. The Greeks and Romans worshiped the same major gods only under different names. The same can be said of other cultures. Philosophy provided early foundations on the mind and behavior, influencing psychology's focus on understanding consciousness and mental processes. Physiology's study of the brain and nervous system led to a biological perspective in psychology, emphasizing the role of biology in behavior. Religion has influenced psychology through spiritual and existential questions about the nature of human existence and emotions.

Islam is a universal religion. It easily adapts to the new cultures and places. It accepts the traditions and customs of different nations and nationalities provided they are not strictly against the teachings of Islam. This loose fabric of Islam influenced blending of cultures in various regions.
