What were Kennedy's ratings after Bays of Pigs?

He took a lot of heat from the decision. Kennedy was persuaded by his generals that it was a good idea. They managed to convince him but, during the Cuban Missile Crisis he went against his generals ideas to have a bombing run, or deploy the US Army there with the blockade. In the end, this was the smartest decision with no US soldiers dead or lost in combat.. The Bay of Pigs was an udder failure. The US sent over Cuban exiles who came to Florida on the 90 mile trips on rafts. Kennedy trained them, and sent them over because they knew the terrain better. Cuba was tipped off that the US was coming, so they prepared as well. In the end, we lost 90% of our soldiers in the initial battle, and then our soldiers were stranded in the forest with no food or water. They turned themselves in and became POWs in Cuba. Kennedy made a public appearance on TV and claimed the fault for his generals, which is why the public didn't like him. Kennedy was considered a war hero to the people who were aware of his heroic actions of accepting the defeat as all him. Later, the media got this information and allowed the public to hear the whole story out. This is why he is in my top 3 for favorite presidents.
