If you are speaking of Founding Father Benjamin Franklin, he did not marry Anne (or as it is often presented, Ann) Child. Ann Child was the first wife of Benjamin's father, Josiah Franklin. Benjamin Franklin married Deborah Reed Rogers (actually, they set up as man and wife in the Common law fashion) in 1730.

Ann & Josiah were married in England and had 7 children. 3 in England and 4 in New England (Boston). Ann died of complications from her last birth. Then Josiah married Abiah Folger who then had 10 children more. Ben was the 10th son to Josiah (6th to Abiah) and the 15th child (out of 17) overall to Josiah. Ben was born in 1706 (Gregorian, 1705 in the Julian Calendar, which was in use at the time)
