Satan was never mentioned in any book of the Old Testament written before the Babylonian Exile, when the concept first entered Judaism. He was written retrospectively into the history of 2 Chronicles, although the parallel passage of the somewhat older Second Book of Kings never mentions him.
Clarification:The literal definition of the word 'sahtan' from Hebrew is 'adversary'. Any adversary, both human and angel could be called a sahtan. The Christian concept of Satan does not exist in Judaism.
