If you asked me where would I get a wiring diagram for my Subaru: I would visit my local dealer and they would copy their's for me. But I can understand how folks try not to go there EVER, because the parts are so expensive, I try to source aftermarket too, but I seem to end up there on a regular basis, there being some stuff you just can't get aftermarket. I think maybe a Haynes manual, there are wiring diagrams in them, but I can't really recommend a Haynes manual, as they are so crummy. I would try my specific question here and see if someone answers, there seems to be specific wiring trouble spots, common to all these cars (eg: Legacy 90-94), that if you own/have owned one of these cars you become familiar with.
In the fuse box. Take the bolts and wiring loose from the rear fo the radio under the dash. Then pull off the knobs and remove the nuts under there and work it out .
The cylinder head temperature sensor could be bad. If it shows an open circuit (resistance is infinity) it tells the computer that the air temp is very cold and the computer adds more fuel, kinda like a choke). Locate the sensor (right beside the distributor on a V-6, buried down in the valley) and remove the wiring harness. Use a jumper wire to short the wiring connector to ground. This will fool the computer into thinking the engine is warm and will meter fuel accordingly. You can then drive the truck to someone who has the special tool required to get to the sensor.
Jean-Baptiste Oudry's The White Duck was stolen in 1990.. :)
