Radio stations almost always announce the list of closings they receive every few minutes. Television stations usually run an ongoing list of closings across the bottom of the screen or show the list every few minutes. Closings might also be posted on their websites and possibly on the school district's or individual school's websites.

For latest emergency school closings in the United Kingdom, tune in to the BBC or visit the Directgov web site, where you can get the latest closings for your area by typing in your post code.
United States
