I'm trying to find where the dip stick for transmission fluid on a 1997 Ford aspire is located
An automotive technician can help a person find this part for a 1997 Ford Aspire. They may have the part in the automotive store, or they can order the part from the manufacturer.
Generally speaking, a rebuilt transmission for a 1997 Subaru Impreza will cost between $2,000 and $5,000. It could be more or less, it depends on the parts put in and the worker labor charges.
Dextron withe mercon tranny fluid on manual transmissions.
My advice would be to have the transmission fluid and filter changed. If that does not correct the problem you need to have the transmission rebuilt by a professional.
$750 for reman on everdrive.com but pull-a-apart is where i got mine from for 70 bucks.
you will probably need to have the trans rebuilt.
The transfer case....or '4 wheel drive'(front wheels)....is a completely different beast. The transfer case can be rebuilt for about $1000. Just had my transfer case rebuilt for just under $1k.
NO!
Do you have enough transmission fluid in the trans? Be sure it is full and you will notice and instant change. If not, have a transmission mechanic check the bands to ensure there is no slippage, otherwise, I'm not sure. I hope this helps, E200
Ford did not make a festiva for sale in the us in 1997. They made and sold an Aspire auto trans or straight drive
The Globe Theatre was last rebuilt in 1997!
