The US Army "Class A" uniform is the green one (Not dress blues) right? If so, medals are not worn on it- only ribbons representing the medals. They are worn on the wearer's left side, above the pocket, in order of precedence.

Centered, and a 1/4 inch above personal awards from the bottom of the airborne background. Unless you have a CAB, then it will join your other badges (no more than three) on the pocket flap below your personal awards. On the pocket flap the badges must be at least an inch apart, and centered.

If one removes (or alters) any military medal or award, it ceases to be the award. It is not lawful or correct. It would be just like having a medal display in incorrect order of precedence.

The Army Meritorious Unit Commendation Medal should be worn on an Air Force uniform in the same place where the Air Force Organizational Excellence award is worn.
