According to page 5-7, of the Haynes Manual, the power transistor is only used in eclipses that fit one of the following criteria;
-2.0L Turbo
-1998-1999 2.4L engines
-3.0L engines
Your car is a 2.0L Non-turbo so it does not have a power transistor.
The VIN is located inside the engine bay on the firewall.
