Yes. There are alot of good Volvos. But a Volvo from 1988 is not made to resive satellite radio, but FM-radio. That might be why you have some problems.
it is located behind instrument panel on top of radio.
Driver side kick panel fuse no. 4 and 6. Relay is behind glove box.
not sure of your question, but, the relay is mounted under or behind the engine computer or ecm.. you have to remove the ecm to find the relay. It is on the inside of the firewall in the middle behind the radio. Good luck
To fix the ac system on the 1988 240 Volvo, check the freon level first. Check the fuse, the relay, then the compressor clutch to find the defective part.
Relay of Youth ended in 1988.

FUEL PUMP RELAY. IF YOU SHORT THE FUSEBOX TERMINALS FOR PRE PUMP AND MAIN PUMP YOU WILL BE BYPASSING THE RELAY. IF IT THEN STARTS IT SHOULD BE THE RELAY THAT IS FAULTY. OF COURSE RETRY STARTING WITH THE SHORT REMOVED TO CONFIRM PROBLEM. DONT LEAVE SHORT ON PERMANENTLY, ONLY TEMPORARILY..
