FUEL PUMP RELAY. IF YOU SHORT THE FUSEBOX TERMINALS FOR PRE PUMP AND MAIN PUMP YOU WILL BE BYPASSING THE RELAY. IF IT THEN STARTS IT SHOULD BE THE RELAY THAT IS FAULTY. OF COURSE RETRY STARTING WITH THE SHORT REMOVED TO CONFIRM PROBLEM. DONT LEAVE SHORT ON PERMANENTLY, ONLY TEMPORARILY..
Have you replaced the cam and/or crank sensor?
it could be the crank sensor as it is a problem for the altimas.
I would recommend that you do put a crank shaft head on a crank shaft. Putting any other type of head on a crank shaft could possibly break the head.
Had same problem with my 91. ECU had leaking capacitor.
could be many things but start by having it checked for codes if possible. then check fuel pressure should be about 45psi. could also be a crank sensor, TPS sensor or other problem. when was the fuel filter changed last
the car will not crank using the key..you have to crank by taking battery cable on and off..and then the other day it just died..finally got it cranked and it stayed crank and few minutes and then it cut off..what could this be

It could be steel, brass, stainless or other corrosion resistant material
