Most say that wheat bread is the one to get more mold on it! but you never know unless u try for yourself! Its a good experiment to look up to! Then maybe u will be able to answer that for all of us to know! lol...... ( that's only if your up to a good challenge!) :)

It depends upon the formulations, the quality of the ingredients, the processing conditions, storage conditions and the handling by all parties involved.Check the wheat bread ingredients. If it contains honey, the honey could be acting as an antimicrobial.In my experiences, yes it has. That is why I always buy wheat bread. And if I do buy white bread I refrigerate it.
White bread contains less nutrients than whole wheat bread. Mold needs nutirents like phosphorus and sulphur which is found only in very low levels in white bread. As the quote says "man cannot live on [white] bread alone" nor can mold or not very well.
How fast a bread molds depends on the amount of preservatives in the bread. If a bread has a lot of preservatives in it, it will mold less quickly than breads that don't have preservatives, no matter if it's wheat or white. Wheat breads are more likely to be "natural" and "preservative-free" though.

The purpose of the experiment was to discover how the type of bread affected the amount of mold. The bread was cut and placed in separate Ziploc bags. The bread was measured for mold every day and was recorded on the data sheet. My hypothesis was "If the white, wheat, whole wheat, sourdough, and sweet bread were placed in Ziploc bags and left for 20 days, then the sweet bread would grow the most mold because the sweet bread had the most energy (sugar) that the mold can use to grow." Whole Wheat bread was the type of bread that grew the most mold, while white, wheat, and sourdough did not grow any mold. When Whole Wheat bread was left to mold, it grew an average of 60.91 square cm. When sweet bread was left to mold, it grew an average of .58 square cm. of mold. When white, wheat, and sourdough were left to mold, they grew no visible mold.
DONT REALLY NO BUT HAVE A REAL GOOD IDEA WELL WHITE BRED HAS MORE PERSERVETIVES THAN WHEAT SO BY WEAT NOT HAVEING ALL THAT DIE AND PERSERVTIVES IN IT COAUSES IT TO MOLD A LOT FASTER
I actually did my last year's science fair on this... In theory, the store-bought bread will mold more slowly than the bakery bread. This is because the store bought bread is baked with all kinds of preservatives to give it a longer shelf life. However, most bakery breads are not.
The answer is "potato bread" because it grows mold on it faster than the others kinds of bread
