Two Monarchs reigned during 1603. Elizabeth I reigned until her death on 24th March 1603. She died at Richmond Palace. King James VI of Scotland was the next Monarch to be on the English Throne and was known as King James I of England. James' English coronation took place on 25th July 1603.
