When you're a kid, lightning scares you. You parents usually give you a reason. My told me that the angels where Bowling. The Greeks were like kids. They needed something...someone to blame and thank for things. They didn't have the technology to understand some things.

I do not agree that the Greeks must be seen like kids. All religions try to explain the unexplainable.
