Franklin Delano Roosevelt intention with the Japanese internment was to round up and control all persons of Japanease ancestry in the USA, after Japan attacked the USN fleet at Hawaii, on December 7th, 1941. This was because of a fear that these person might do acts of sabotage, such as setting fires, or attacking civillians. They were collected and shipped to isolated camps in the mountains, or the desert, men women and kids, all together. Some camps had up to 10,000 people in them In actual fact, the Japanese-Americans proved to be very loyal and when they were given the chance to become American soldiers they fought well, but not in the Pacific theatre. They all served in Europe, far from Japan.
Franklin d roosevelt was scared that the Japanese-American citizens would turn against the u.s. following the attack on pearl harbor. he was concerned with the safety of America. but it was unconstitutional
Not Theodore Roosevelt. It was the later US President Franklin Delano Roosevelt. There was a fear of Axis sabotage and espionage at the time, but racism was also a factor. German Americans and Italian Americans were interned individually if they were thought to pose a security threat, but Japanese Americans were distrusted collectively, and they were interned collectively. It should be remembered that Roosevelt could not have accomplished this collective internment without the support of Congress, the Supreme Court, and the Department of the Army.
They were sent to internment camps because the government thought that there was going to be another attack along the west coast. The camps were set up along the west coast, mainly California, for that very reason. The government suspected that the Japanese people in this area of the US were plotting or knew about a possible second attack.
President Roosevelt gave orders to construct concentration camps because of the events with Pearl Harbor it made Roosevelt uneasy about the Japanese and think they were terrorists.
The United States government feared the Japanese Americans on the West coast could be spies, so they sent them inland so no military information could get to Japan.
Fear of espionage or terrorist activities. It was also a way to keep the non interned Japanese-Americans at bay and non-aggressive by the threat of execution
The same reason they sent germans and Italians to interment camps. They were afraid of spying or actions against the USA.
In July of 1944 US President Franklin D. Roosevelt met with his senior commanders in Hawaii to decide whether to invade the Philippines or Taiwan. The senior US Navy commanders believed that an invasion of Taiwan would aid the "island hopping" Pacific campaign and the US Air Force could keep Japanese forces in the Philippines isolated. The US Army believed that invading the Philippines was a better way to take control of US military operations in East Asia. President Roosevelt decided that the US had better prospects if the Philippines were retaken. The Japanese had captured the Philippines in 1962.

Japan would serve in the anti-Soviet bloc.
Assuming that this refers to Operation Torch in 1942, where FDR led an amphibious invasion into Morocco and Algeria, the reason that Roosevelt decided to invade Morocco was that it was the least well-defended part of the larger Nazi Empire.
to defeat the japanese first and then turn attention to the germans
The decision upheld the legality of the wartime internment policy
