This isn't the most scientific answer in the world, but that's just the way I am.
Cat's eyes glow because there is something in the eyes that makes them reflect light, even just a tiny bit. This also means that this only works when there is a smidge of light, and that nothing will happen if there is complete darkness.
because the back of their eyeballs include a special reflective layer called the tapetum lucidum. This helps animals (cats in this case) see better in low light by working like a mirror on the retina to reflect the light back through the eyes, giving them a second chance to absorb the light
Because the back of their eyes might be different colors than yellow. The light bounces off of the back of their eyes and reflects off and makes a light. The back of our eyes are black. That is why our eyes don't shine in the night.
Cats' eyes do appear to glow in the dark because of the tapetum lucidum, which is positioned at the back of the eye, behind the retina. It acts like a mirror, reflecting light back onto the light sensor cells in the retina. This makes the cats' eyes glow in the dark when they are caught in a beam of light.
They don't really glow, it's just light reflections.
They do not glow, they are reflecting a lot light, which helps them see in the dark as they absorb more light into their eyes than other mammals.
I've heard that it's so they can sorta "see" in the dark, just like a glow stick sorta, that's what Ive heard
because they have night vision
A Surgical shine job is a procedure where one gets a reflective material surgically implanted on the iris. This allows light to enter the eye and reflect back outwards creating a sort of built in flashlight. Similar to that of cats.
The red color comes from light that reflects off of the retinas in our eyes. In many animals, including dogs, cats and deer, the retina has a special reflective layer called thetapetum lucidum that acts almost like a mirror at the backs of their eyes. If you shine a flashlight or headlights into their eyes at night, their eyes shine back with bright, white light.
Many animals such as wild cats, wild dogs, seals, and bears live in brightly lit environments. The reason for this is it is easier for them to find food and survive in bright areas.
Some animals do, but not all (i.e. dogs, cats, horses, deer, mice, ect.) Owls have eyeshine, but I'm not sure about other birds; I've never bothered to check. Fish might, but again I'm not sure. Any animal that can see in the dark has eyeshine. in actual fact all animals eyes shine in the dark. cats eyes are green.
Yes your eyes can "glow" like a cat if you mean in the dark. The way to see this is with night vision you can see human eyes "glow" pretty much like cats. cats eyes glow because behind the retna there are mirror like tissues which causes the light to reflect to cause a "glowing" kinnda sense.
live strong fit bits crunchy cats get up and go sun crisp rise and shine
Cats, basically, are better at catching mice, rats, etc., than dogs because they are faster, more agile and can get into places many dogs would not fit. Plus, just as rodents have the ability to climb a variety of objects, cats are able also to climb whereas dogs are not usually climbers. Some dogs are definitely very good at catching rodents, but on the whole, cats do usually out shine their canine buddies.
There eye's glow because at day they cant see kinda well at night they can see very good because cats are well known to see at night.

Well... I only had 2 cats in my life time whitch wasn't very long because I am younger then 15 so back to the question! I used to have a male tabby and his eyes glowed in the dark... The owl cant see at night they use the sound and cat i dont think can see a night also their eyes just reflect the light and make them shine but the owl is more likely to not see but hear at night.
