sounds like you temperature sending unit is bad. very cheap part usually easy to fix however sometimes hard to find - buy an automotive book for you car or ask someone at parts store
Is the fan functioning?
Start it up again.
Wait a second, then start it again.
freeze plugs?
I would start off by checking any vaccum hoses for leaks.
A 1996 Plymouth Breeze that starts and runs until it warms up, but then stalls might have a problem with a temperature sensor. The sensor is telling the computer that the temperature is too high for the engine to operate safely. Check the Electronic Temperature Sensor or the Manifold Pressure Sensor (MAP).
probbly your charging system is going and you want to get it checked out
The start-stall issues are most likely the result of the car being 23 years old and in dire need of an overhaul.
There is most likely something in the gas tank. When the car starts the fuel pump starts sucking in fuel and when the trash gets to it the gas will not be able to flow through the clogged pump so the car stalls. When it stalls the fuel pump stops suction and the trash comes out allowing it to start again.
Sounds like gas filter getting plugged with rust or something. Then after being down for while the rust falls off filter and starts until gas pressure plugs the filter again with dirt or rust or whatever.
tps throttle position sensor
It most likely is the air temp sensor. they are 20 dollars. I would also suggest replacing your PCV valve and your thermostat.
