More than likely a leak in the engine compartment somewhere..Especially if you turn the heat on and can smell you can be sure its coming from the front. If its only when the car is running then its probably along the fuel rail somewhere. If you can smell it just as strong when the car is off then its a line and your car probably does not get good gas mileage. start there or take to a mechanic asap! gas is way to expensive now a days!!
I have the same problem on my ford taurus please help
Yes, but like any car you have to take care of maintenance.
An oil can with 3 little drips
Okay well I have a 1999 Ford Taurus and I have heard that when a Taurus reaches about 120,000 miles the tranny is bound to fail. Mine revs up real high and feels like I'm driving in neutral and has a smell. When it happens my speedometer stops working, which is powered by the tranny. Hope that helps you.
Possibly a leak in the fuel system somewhere.
The handle is the only way to open the hatch (trunk?) on a Windstar. There is no inside button for it like in a sedan like a Taurus.
I am looking for my o2 censors im my 1998 Ford Taurus and would like some help.

No. Feels like it though...
if it is like the 2003 taurus, it is in the trunk, under the carpeting, above the driver's side wheel well
The " check transaxle " warning light is located in the bottom of the tachometer on the left . It is a explanation mark inside a round gear
