Some cars have a time delay before it turns off. I had a Buick Park Avenue that was like that. If you open the door the radio should go off. If not, you may have a wiring problem.
yes in a car all you have to do is turn the key turn back towards you instead of turn the key you dum dum
I turned off h radio and engine. Turned the engine back on and it was gone,
Turn your key to accessory, but watch out, it will drain your battery
the timing is off
If your radio will not shut off when you turn off the car, there may be an issue with the wiring. If your car has the feature where your radio will not turn off until you open the door, that is normal. However, if you have an aftermarket radio, the wiring is most likely the cause.
because the engine is still processing the oil for about 20 seconds after you turn the car off
If by "stop the engine", you mean turn the car off, then the answer is NO!
I have a 2002 Chevy S-10 pickup and the radio will stay going for about 5 minutes after shutting the truck off. But if I have the door open and turn off the engine the radio instantly is turned off. This is to save on the battery, the radio takes out the battery fast and then not have enough power to start the truck up. I have been there a few times myself.
Turn your engine off, check the gas cap and restart your car. If that doesn't work, be more specific about which car you have or check your owners maunal.
In this order only. Turn engine off. Depress parking brake. Turn engine on. Lights will turn off. To turn lights back on relase parking brake.
The remote wire is not hooked up. It should be a small blue wire, just take the radio out and hook thise remote wire up and then the radio should turn off when the car is turned off.
IGNITION SWITCH, UR RADIO'S SECONDARY POWER COMES FROM THE IGNITION SWITCH SO WHEN U TURN YOUR CAR OFF THE RADIO AND OTHER ACCESSORIES TURN OFF AS WELL.
