Why won't my 1987 Mazda rx7 run. When I turn it over it runs at about 5 rpm's for a few seconds and then dies How do I know what is wrong with it. I was thinking it was the fuel pump?

I'd try the fuel pump or the fuel pressure regulator. Maybe the fuel pump relay or fuse . Hopefully a simple fix...
