Check computer for codes. It's not uncommon to get a bad fuel pump.
I had the same problem with my 92 SE. It wound up being the ignition module under the coil pack. Common knowledge is that if the module is bad, the engine will not start at all but if memory serves me correctly, my mechanic who diagnosed the problem told me that the module not only controls idle timing it also controls higher RPM timing and that's what was happening. I could drive for anywhere from 5-20 min. before it would shut off and if it sat for 10-15 min it would start up and run for quite some time. After changing the module, it never did it again. The module was about 107.00 brand new at Advance Auto Parts. Hope this helps
crankshaft position censor
I have a 1995 Bonneville that did the same thing. Your problem is you have a bad crank angle sensor. When you run your car on the computer it will not show up, but that's what your problem is. I took mine to the dealership and it was replace, cost about $230, and it has not happened since. Been about two years since replaced.
change the fuel filter you have two
check the fuel filter, may be clogged.
Fuel Pressure Regulator - would do that -
Stalling while driving may be caused by a collapsing or kinked neoprene fuel line.
because it's a bad car
If the check engine light is on...might be a dirty EGR valve.
Year, Make, Model, engine size please. possibly an ignition or sensor (electronic part).
Yes, a catalytic converter can cause a vehicle to vibrate and stall. It will do this when it gets plugged because it causes the fuel mix to be disturbed.
it could be vapor lock
Sounds like it could be vapor locking. Try putting a few wooden clothes pins on fuel line
