Try put turps inside the radiator it cleans all the stuff that's suck inside and that should help.
Honda Man's answerRotary engines are much different than piston style engines, it is a common problem for these cars to have hard starting issues. There is a TSB (Technical Service Bulletin) put out by Mazda with tips.Spark plugs not producing enough spark. Battery doesn't have enough charge. Old fuel.
The key.
That model should be fuel injected, and if so then the main culprit would be the "Cold Start Valve" (a separate fuel injector made to enrich (increase) fuel during cold weather). If it is a carburetor, or has been converted to one, then it would be the choke.
Because, strangely, you need gas to start a car.
Sitting down would be a good start.
If it is the 2.5l engine,it is probably the valve stem seals. They are notorius for drying out and cracking. On mine, after sitting over night,I would get a big puff of smoke when I put it in gear and accelerated away from a dead stop.
Check for fuel pressure and spark on the no start days.
screeching is almost always a loose belt.
3.5 0r 3.7 qts i would start with 3.5
plenty of things could be a starter, alternator, ignition switch, bad spark...
Under the dash next to the ecu. Sitting in the passenger seat, it's where your left foot would rest against the center console.
in warm weather nothing in cold weather it could be hard to start
