A bad cam or crank sensor can cause a no start, but the engine will still crank or turn over.
It does not have a crank sensor, it only has the "pick up" plate in the distributor.
No crank sensor, only the sensor in the distributor.
yes
Have you checked for fuel and spark? Camshaft sensor and or crank sensor will cause that problem as well!
Crank sensor is in the top of the transmission housing at the back of the engine. Cam position sensor is in the distributor.
It is possible, but not guaranteed in every case. The crank position sensor is a little bit redundant, since there are other sensors available to the engine's control module, which could give it essentially the same data required for the engine to start and run. Regardless, if the crank position sensor is found to be defective, it should be replaced.
i think u mean crank sensor and that would be by the dampener or balancer in the front of engine (near crankshaft)
the 1995 and before 3.0L's only have the sensor in the distributor. No crank sensor.
youtube!
A faulty crank sensor can do that.
A faulty crank sensor would cause no spark and no fuel.
Yes.
