Actually "sue" them - probably not. Your problem really all depends on what Wal-Mart's return policy is. It's probably posted somewhere in the store or maybe printed on something. In addition, you really had better have the receipt. Returning merchandise is getting more and more difficult these days, especially if the packaging has been opened. If you haven't "burned your bridges" with the manager, you might try going back once again and asking if they would consider giving you a "store credit" instead of a money refund.
