Yes, the computer is programmed to only allow a certain rpm while in park.
the 426 hemi is the best and only true hemi, these new so called hemi engines are really not true hemi's.
The only fuel filter that I'm aware of is actually inside of the fuel tank
No. A hemi is only made by Dodge along with Cummins Turbo Diesel
I have this exact truck in quad cab and I am only getting 14.21 mile per gallon. I figured i should be getting more but I am not.
Chevy never made a hemi motor
Chrysler corporation never made a 440 'HEMI'. The 440 started being produced in 1966 and only had a 'wedge' shaped chamber configuration as most engines of the time also did. The (second generation) HEMI was only produced in a 426 cubic inch configuration, from 1964 through 1971. They produced about 11,000 of these special engines during this period The term HEMI stands for hemispherical shaped combustion chambers. The 426 HEMI should not be confused with the 426 wedge which was produced from 1963-1966.
The Hemi engine is only available in the Grand Cherokee and Commander lines, none of which are available with a Golden Eagle package.
It is not normal, but it is not a major problem. If the issue is only the lack of lighting on the gauge, the bulb can be replaced and that should fix it.
only $5,600
1970 Challenger R/T Hemi Convertible - only 9 made - best year for the challenger, best motor If you don't like a convertible then it's the 1970 Challenger R/T SE Hemi - only 60 made - great car. any challenger you are lucky enough to own ...of course a hemi would be nice.....
A hemi is the name of a chrysler v8 that came with cylinders that have hemispherical combustion chambers(half a circle). New genIII hemi's are not trun hemi's like the ones from the 50's-70's. They have modified chambers with 2 squish pads(more oval looking). Thier legend is based their superior flow capacity, due to: opposed canted valves that allow larger valves than normal wedge heads, central spark plugs and straighter runner/ports. Hemi is the only motor that was banned at one point or another from ever U.S. form of racing( Indy, Nascar, NHRA) They still power "The Most Powerful Cars in the World" Top fuel dragsters and funny cars, 8000+hp pushrod V8s :)
You need to bring it to the dealer. It is a dealer only only item.
