I know that the raphls near me hire at 14

Actually Ralphs will not hire younger than 16. This is not a new policy as I applied at age 15 in 1970 and had to wait until I was 16. It is even harder now to get a job before 18 due to the labor laws in California that restrict the working hours of Minors. I worked for Ralphs for 24 years.

WOW, you worked at ralphs for 24 years... your life must suck.

Can a 13 year old work in the hairdressers?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

First, find out what the legal working age is in your area. Call or visit the website of the government agency that regulates labor and industry. In the U.S., go to the Department of Labor's site at www.dol.gov. Under the "Find It!" sidebar, click on the "More" link under "Topics". Look for "Youth & Employment", click on "Age Requirements". To find specific information for your state, click on the state labor laws link. The "Youth Rules" link will also be helpful. It has a list of jobs people age 13 and younger can do. Second, if businesses in your area are unable or unwilling to hire you because of your age, think about starting your own hairdressing business. Figure out what services you'll offer, and how much you'll charge based upon what people are willing to pay. Learn safe hygiene practices. Decide where you'll provide the service. Will people come to you or will you go to them? Will you be safe? Ask everyone you know, including adults. Be creative! Make flyers and advertise your service to family, friends, and people you trust.

What are the special features of a wild mustang?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

everything about a wild mustang is special.

Mustangs are the last wild horses in the States. Other than the Sable Island ponies, they are the only wild horses in North America.

The American Wild Mustangs are on average the size of the American pony, they aren't any one color, or breed specific look. Due to natural selection and the ranges they roam without access to other areas. Also breeding with domestic wild horses, has helped mix their gentic pool. Many of these horses roam in and travel between several states, Nevada, Colorado, New Mexico, are the most heavily traveled. The Bureau Of Land Management, BLM , is responsible for upholding The Wild Free Roaming Horses and Burros Act, of 1971. So the horses are protected. But under pressure from livestock, and land owner's, the BLM has allowed wild horse roundups using helicopters , and even though the American Wild Mustang is part of our heritage, The BLM has a new proposal that could kill up to thousands of wild horses being held in holding facilities now. I don't know if I'm allowed to list info. regarding how to reach someone in an answer? ( so I won't) I have information regarding the address for the Bureau of Land Management and the Director's name. I've sent a letter, to let my him know my feelings.

There was a study and then film done about a herd of wild mustangs. The herd was named for one of the horses leading the herd "Cloud". If you want more information on the mustangs, check for info about Cloud's Herd.

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

The average wage for carpenters is less than the average ($44,231) for all occupations in the province. However, wages depend on trades certification and other variables, such as union membership. For example, the current rate for journeyman members of the B.C. Carpenters Union is $27.54/hr (approximately. $54,000 per year), plus benefits. On average, carpenters with trades certification earned $7,000 per year more than non-certified workers. How do you run a 200 meter race in track?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

to run the 200 you come out of the blocks in a drive phase which mean that you are pushing out of the blocks at about 85 perccent and you are pushing off the track. after about 20 to 30 meters you bring youre body up and begin to run with knee lift. it may seem like youre running slow but when you start passing people youll know youre not because you are now sprinting full speed and everyone else is beginning to slow down

Another way you could run is fire out of the block 95% until your lane straightens out then get into your stride and hold it until the finish

What are the Repossession laws in Alberta can?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

they are different if you finance than when you lease. when you lease and get behind on your payments (usually 3 months) the bank will ask you to either catch up with your payment or they will send a bailif (civil enforcment-sherriff's department most likely) to get the car from you but he can't breach the peace for example if you start arguing with him and say he can not take the car then they have to file a civil claim and with court judgment they can enforce it. but if you give up the car you will be liable for the rest of the payments that you signed in the contract. if you finance it's the same thing they can only enforce it with a court order or take the vehicle only if you agree and comply but only between 6am and 10pm and without breaching the peace. once the vehicle is reposessed you're NOT going to be sued for the difference once they have the car you are cleared from the loan. you will gat a paper saying that once the car is reposessed the claim against you is satisfied and you're all free! please ask if you have any questions i just went through repo couple weeks ago and i know all the laws and procedures (I've been driving my car for 8 months before they found me)

What is the legal babysitting age in Alberta?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Well, there isn't really a legal age. Most all parents don't let their kids babysit until they're 12, so if you're 11 or younger, watch out! You may be in for a big surprise. Some people even get mad at you and look down on you if you try to babysit before you're 12. I would be careful, but
