JFK was an infant in 1917 so there is no possible way his picture would have been on a dime.

All dimes minted up to 1945 carry a picture of Miss Liberty. Dimes made after that have a portrait of Franklin D. Roosevelt.

President Kennedy was BORN in 1917. He wasn't then, nor has he ever been on the dime. He's been on the half dollar since 1964. In 1917, the design on the dime was the Winged Liberty head, better known as the Mercury dime.
