1988 Dodge D100 will not start. The Fuel pump has been replaced It acts like it isn't getting fuel to the engine. If you pour fuel intot he carborator it starts fine. what could be wrong?

Sounds like the float in the carb is stuck closed or the main jet in the carb is plugged.Take the spark plug out and pour a small amount if gas in the engine put the plug back in and see if the engine starts for a shot period of time,if so then its in the carb somewhere

I kept on getting an error message of Cylinder#1 misfire. I had already replaced the spark plugs. I switched the #1 and #4 spark wires, moved them away from touching the valve cover and the problem went away. Runs like a charm!

I had the same problem with a 1992 Park Avenue with the 3800 engine. I first replaced the electronic ignition but that did not fix the problem. I then replaced the crankshaft heat sensor. That fixed my problem.
