I have 1989 jeep Cherokee automatic 4.o and it wouldn't shift out of 1st gear so i looked all over and found out it was the t.p.s it cast me at pepboys about 90-bucks But better the a new tranny. Try it it works "Throttle position sensor" thanks Jeff e s
