1990 Chevy k1500 with a 350 the oil cooler line is leaking at the filter housing Is it possible to just plug these lines as i don't do any heavy towing and what size plugs?

no i would not recommend that. look closely. that is an adapter that the oil lines come out of. you should be able to remove the adapter and purchase one that does not have the oil cooler lines. dont know where you would get it but there should be one out there somewhere.

you screw the oil filter to it, if your filter screws directly to the pump arm housing, it doesnt have a cooler, the cooler is a small metal box in between the filter and arm with two hoses going to it p.s. if you dont see hoses near your filter, you dont have a cooler, i think they're only aftermarket

Light duty , and heavy duty. light duty, Oil cooler lines go from the oil filter housing to the radiator. oil cooler is built into the radiator. Heavy duty, Oil cooler lines go from the oil filter housing under the radiator and in front of the radiator there is a mini oil cooler.

Front middle of block under the intake. If you know where the oil filter is then look down lower and the oil filter/fuel filter housing is bolted to the oil cooler. The turbo and intake have to be removed to gain access and replacement. Good luck.
