Lookaround the radiator. The cooling lines my be leakingand its around there.
That is the correct spelling of "leaking" (losing fluid or pressure).
If your transmission has a vaccume shift modulator, the Engine will suck the transmission fluid out & sometimes if the modulator is real BAD U will have smoke coming out of the exhaust pipe. If this is an automatic, and the car is blowing some white smoke, the diaphragm in the transmission modulator is bad. If this is the case, you will have to replace the whole modulator.
Its a strong indication of a blown head gasket
could have a crack in it that is leaking under pressure
Which of the following light technologies is known for losing very little light during transmission
either your radiator is leaking, head gaskit is leaking if it's your head gaskit leaking you will have water in your oil or water coming out your exhaust pipe,or you might have a freeze plug going bad.
If losing anti freeze but not visible leaking typically means bad head gasket. Antifreeze is leaking into combustion cylinder and therefore evaporating and going out exhaust pipe as steam.
pluged cooling fins in and on the radiador
Yes, check the vacuum line between the transmission and the throttle body. If you can see ANY sign of oil in the vacuum line, the vacuum modulator is leaking. Of course, all of that is dependant upon YOUR transmission having a vacuum modulator. Some do, some don't. Generally, they are quite simple to replace, so long as you keep everything clean.
Would that be when it is raining ? If so you need to caulk around the vent in the fire wall area. If not from rain, then the heater core is leaking, and you will be losing coolant.
The problem I was having was I was losing transmission fluid but nothing was leaking. The truck was also running rough and would smoke at time's. It turned out to be the vacuum regulator on the side of the transmission. There was a hole in the diaphragm and it was sucking fluid directly into the intake causing all the problems. The new part only cost me $33.00 and was easy to replace. I purchased the truck for 500 dollars because the previous owner had been told it needed a new transmission. $33.00 later I couldn't be happier.
More than likely there is a hose with a hole in it. Also, if the water pump is bad it could be leaking.
