A lot of people when they see an oil leak will start cranking down on the valve cover bolts which will bend the valve cover, see if that is the problem. If the metal of the valve cover arches in between bolt holes then it has been tightened too much and will have to be straightened, sometimes it is so bad that it will never seal again and will need to be replaced. And remember to just snug those bolts down a little and the new one will seal just fine. Thank You I will have to check that as I am not the one who tightened the bolts down. The person who actually did this for me broke one of the bolts in the process and I had to go to Honda to replace it as neither Autozone or Discount had this item. The gasket they sold me was actually made of rubber so I will have to see if it is pinched as well. :)
If oil is leaking from the riverside of a 1998 Honda Accord the vehicle may be experiencing a front seal leak. The main front seal is located on the crankshaft of the engine.
I had a problem just like that, I replaced sparkplugs and wires and my engine had a bad miss also; performed a compression test on all cylinders check out good ; found out sparkplugs was bad, got those NGK's sparkplugs ran better than ever.
WATER PUMP IS LEAKING,.
If the shock is leaking it must be replaced. Replace both shocks in pairs.
Leaking injectors.
ah.......radiator??
how can i check the transmmission fluid?
Depends on what and where it is leaking. Need more information.
take it to the shop to get fixed!
Depends on why it is leaking.
probably not, the accord layout changed quite a bit from 1987 to 1993
At the front of the engine just above the transmission closer to the drivers side. Just changed one out if I recall there were only two bolts and of course the wire connection.
