I had this same problem on my 1994 Aerostar automatic column shift shifter. Turned out that if you look for the shifter link underneath the dashboard (on the driver's side) there are two torx screws (mine are kinda gold-colored). Mine had worked quite loose, one had even fallen out on the floor earlier that morning.
I really thought the transmission was shot, and was praying I could get home from Idaho in the dead of winter. It had gotten to the point that I couldn't even move the shift lever to 'Park'.
All it took was some awkward tightening of those two screws, and I was back in business. Works perfectly now!
The linkage could be bad.
muslims that are sloppy i guess
Sloppy means untidy
Sloppy grammar is to the academic world what sloppy clothing or an unwashed person is to the business world: an indicator of low understanding and doubtful accomplishment. Ideas need to be expressed properly, just as bankers need to be dressed properly, in order to be taken seriously.
The opposite of sloppy (slipshod, careless) would be meticulous or careful. The opposite of sloppy (messy) would be tidy.
Same as English: el sloppy joe
