There should be a fuse for the brake lights. If the fuse is good always check the ground wire.

They are daytime running lights. They are always on so people can always see you. Its a safety thing. Newer trucks have specific daytime running lights.

I tried all the fuses, the parts that under the brakes I checked that. All lights come on and working except the brake lights no break lights.
When shifting into drive you torque the engine on its mounts. I would look for broken or missing engine to body ground straps. You can always add one as a test, run a strap of at keat 3/8" from a clean bolt on the engine or alternator to the body. If problem is fixed be happy.
