Most time the tires are out of balance but you can also have worn out and loose suspension parts. Don't mess with waiting on something to break so you can find the problem. You might not be around to repair it. You have to jack the car up a little to inspect the ball joint and tie rod ends for being loose or defective with too much play or wear. You or your buddy has to move the steering wheel back and forth 3-6 inches while the other is under the front end with a flashlight looking for a ball joints and tie rods that move but the attached bar does not move exactly at the same time. Borrow a manual from your local library and learn a bit about checking out this problem. lol
If your saying it shakes when driving it may be your wheel alignment may be off
Taurus
Possible PS pump or steering gear failure. Either you have a flat on one of the front tires, of your steering geometry is messed up. Have someone look at the wheel alignment. I suppose it's possible that the power steering would fail in a way that makes turning one way more strenuous than the other, but I've never seen it.
The Ford Taurus is a front engine, front wheel drive car. Such a configuration uses a transaxle, which makes the transmission and differential one single assembly - there is no driveshaft between the transmission and the differential.
Worn out bushing or steering joint probably.
Have someone check the auxiliary steering shaft.
it rumbles and shakes
If its shaking side to side could be a tire out of balance or maybe a mechanical issue (wheel bearing, alignment, etc). Probably not a safety issue, but it can wear the tires out prematurely which can be expensive. Warped brake rotors are the most likely cause if the steering wheel only shakes when applying the brakes.
A hard turn in one direction shows a problem in the front end steering. Check all front end components for worn or loos parts.
Taurus makes pretty decent revolvers, and they're reliable.
an earthquakes makes a volacno erup because the earthquake shakes up the valanco
Front drive axle joints bad
