obviously the problem is not the alternator.check the starter for a short, check cables and wiring for shorts. do you have a voltage regulator. check that. have the battery checked
and if you have stuff checked, go to a different mechanic because someone is not helping fix the problem
Try changing the battery.

I have a 2.0 1995 Mercury mystique the battery charge light was on no output on old alternator. Replaced alternator No output from new alternator "charge light out" (wiggle test wires& re-check wires) at alternator *still no output* is there a fuse that could be the problem or just another bad alternator... I would check the alternator plug before getting another alternator, it may be bad. And is a lot cheaper to replace.
Check your charge fuse (7.5 A)at relay block no. 2. (passenger side engine compartment.)
Charge and load test battery- it may be not able to take a charge and need to be replaced You may a have blown fuseable link preventing alternator from charging battery
check for proper belt tension, check all of your connections from the alternator and the ones on the batteryif everything check out have the battery tested, if none of this works feel free to e-mail me

yes it will i have a optima battery in my 1995 marquis
If it were the ignition switch, the vehicle would not start even with a jump. The battery is either not holding a charge or the alternator is not providing the charge to the battery. You can have the battery and the alternator checked (usually free of charge) at an auto parts store,
sense wire has to have 12v on it to tell the alternator to charge - bad/broken wire,,, possible pcm failure.... disconnect sense wire from alt - jump terminal to the battery to see if it charges - if it does - you have found the problem
Remove the wiring harness from the back of your 1995 Chrysler LHS alternator. Remove the alternator belt. Remove the alternator retaining bolts. The alternator will come off and can be replaced with the new alternator.
The 1995 Infinity alternator can be replaced by removing the alternator belt. Removing the wiring harness from the back of the alternator. Removing the alternator retaining bolts. Put the new alternator on and reverse the process.
