What I found on my Safari with the same problem, is that the idle adjustment screw had become magnetized, so that when you let the throttle all the way off it would then stick to the screw. Replace the screw, or as I did, I just stuck a couple of little pieces of electrical tape to the plate that the screw comes in contact with. This kept the magnetism down enough to keep it from sticking.

There will be an electrical plug attached to a cylindrical part with two screws attaching it. That should be the idle air control valve. To the left of that, on the back side of the throttle body neck at the butterfly valve is the TPS, I think.

The intake mainfold could be leaking as well as any of the hoses or lines coming from the intake. You also could have a sticking IAC valve. The Idle Air Control valve is located on the throttle body and controls how much air the engine gets.
