is the sound speed dependent.do you hear it start and go away at certain speeds say its there from 25-45 mph?if it is a high pitched rotational noise it is either the brakes are worn and squealing or the front hub or hubs are making the noise.this is fairly common.the inner seal of the hub gets worn and dry and makes the squeak.hub needs replacement not serviceable
You may be hearing the ABS (Antilock Brake System) kicking in, this is normal.
if its a hissing noise...like a vacuum leak, your looking at a bad brake booster
well the tighter it is means it is stretching a lot so it make is harder to make noise but if it is quite loose it makes a big loud hard noise cause it is not struggling.
Most likely it is your CV joint, you will have to replace the right drive shaft. It's not to hard to do if you have a decent tool set and a Haynes or Chilton repair manual.
it makes your nails grow but it doesn't make it hard
Answerwork hard AND YOU PRACTISE
A tuba makes a sound when the musician buzzes their lips into the mouth piece. The buzzing plus exhaling breath sends vibrational waves of air through the tuba eventually exiting through the bell of the tuba as the noise you hear. The pitch is controlled by how tightly the musician buzzes and the length of horn the vibrational wave must travel, which can be changed by using different combinations of valves. The volume is changed by how hard the musician exhales into the tuba.
A vibrating brake pedal is an indication of a warped rotor. Noise is common to disk brakes but depending on the noise it can mean that the brake pads are worn out and you are due for a brake job.
Anti lock system maybe If this is a front wheel drive vehicle you may have a cracked axle,,,,,causing the popping noise when turned and under hard braking.
a screching noise when you stop hard. what what what...................................................................................................................................................................
Braking
Don't hit the brakes so hard.
Anti lock brakes. The system uses a computer, valves, and speed sensors to control wheel lock up during hard braking.Anti lock brakes. The system uses a computer, valves, and speed sensors to control wheel lock up during hard braking.
press down hard on the brake pedal, and continue to steer the vehicle.
It depends on the vehicle and how hard you'll be braking! Basically drum brakes are quite old fashioned and can 'lock' under hard braking or if they get wet. This can cause the wheel in question to skid! Most new vehicles these days unless they are very cheap (usually motorbikes) come with disk brakes. They won't lock if they get wet or under hard braking. Also disk brakes can have an extra feature called ABS - or Anti-lock Braking System - what this means is that when you press the brake pedal the brakes automatically turn on and off a hundred times a second or so - actually allowing you to steer. Very good. Nearly all cars and many motorbikes come with this feature as standard or an option.
the brakes probably got too hot, due to long and hard braking. Then it is possible that the brakes start to do that. The other problem might be that your brakepads are worn and have to be replaced.
Do you mean when you push the pedal " hard " you hear noise..........if so could be the ABS..........if not, then please have your brakes checked for safety.
A burning smell from a car's brakes means that you are braking very hard or there is a electrical short circuit in the car. Another reason for a burning smell may actually be coming from the car's heater.
ABS = Anti-Lock Brake SystemIf you have this light come on while not braking, it most likely means there is a problem with the electronic controls in your brakes. If it comes on while you are braking, it means the Anti-Lock has kicked in. It should only do that however, if you are braking really hard.
